Contain keeps the whole picture inside the margins — the safe default.

Cover page
How the maths works. “Contain” scales the picture down until it fits inside the margins, “cover” fills the whole page and crops the overflow, and “stretch” forces the picture onto the full page size. The aspect ratio is always preserved except in stretch mode.

How to convert images to a PDF

1

Add your pictures

Drop JPG, PNG or WEBP files into the panel — each picture becomes one page and you can reorder them with the arrow buttons.

2

Choose the page size

Pick A4, A5, Letter, Legal or “Fit to image”, then set the orientation and the margin in millimetres.

3

Decide how pictures fill the page

Use Contain to keep every pixel visible, Cover to fill the sheet edge to edge, or Stretch to fill it exactly.

4

Create and download

Optionally add a cover page with a title and subtitle, then press “Create PDF” to save images.pdf to your device.

Image to PDF converter — frequently asked questions

JPG/JPEG, PNG and WEBP files are accepted. PNG and JPG pictures are embedded with their original data, so there is no quality loss. WEBP pictures are converted to PNG internally because the PDF format has no native WEBP support.

Yes. Tick “Add a title page before the images”, type your title and subtitle and they are centred on a clean first page that uses the same size and orientation as your content pages.

Your originals are never modified. The PDF engine only scales them mathematically so they fit the chosen page, keeping the original aspect ratio in contain and cover mode.

The practical limit is the memory of your device. A few dozen high-resolution photos are comfortable on a modern phone or laptop; very large scans may need to be converted in smaller batches.
